Meet Sarah

Read Sarah's interview to see what she thinks about working with us.

I transferred to the company during the acquisition of Central Networks. I love working with the friendly and down to earth colleagues and feel the electricity industry is a stable and secure work sector.

I manage the stocks of plant and associated automation to service the East and West Midlands for both planned work and faults. I have to strike a balance between ensuring there is sufficient stock to service business needs whilst keeping within a target stock value.

A typical week can involve reviewing stock levels and engineer requests, raising orders with suppliers, updating databases.

The supportive management team and the employee benefits.

Friendly and pragmatic.

Someone who is hard working, willing to learn and develop.

We have a Performance Development Review every year with our line manager where we can discuss our progress over the previous year and set goals or strategy for future development. Formal training has been organised where there has been a business need.

Continuing to keep the company stock value for plant under the target whilst maintaining a high service level.

Managing the change of childcare arrangements. I was able to achieve a balance between work and home by collaborating with my management team on an effective solution.

This is a great place to work for anyone that is looking for long term career options.
