Meet Natalie

Read Natalie's interview to see what she thinks about working with us.

I joined Eon when I was 18 and not sure what I wanted to do with my life at the time. The opportunity came available and I basically fell lucky to be taken on as an agency member of staff for a project that should have lasted only 6 months, however 13 years later I am still here.

My role consists of many aspects day to day to ensure that Occupational Health Department runs as smoothly as possible. This can be anything from arranging appointments, working closely with my team to ensure everyone is seen as and when they need. Completing all different aspects of administration work from paperwork to forms to health promotion. No single day is the same and my role seems to develop on a weekly basis. It can be a challenge sometimes but as long as you stay focused the job always gets done.

For me it would be the friends I have made along the years. Some are more than just work colleagues and due to a large number of people joining the company for a long career path you are able to get to know people and become very good friends.

I believe to be successful here you need to be willing to put the effort into your role. Be able to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative if required. Speak out if you need to and do not be afraid to ask for a little helping hand, one thing for sure here you are not alone.

Depending on the role you have within the company will depend on the development opportunities available to you. I find I grow within my role due to my role developing often. There are always opportunities to learn new things within Occupational Health and conferences/training courses to attend if you desire. As for the company as a whole we have fantastic training schools which provide courses and training to help you progress through your career.

My biggest achievement is joining Occupational Health and being able to develop myself as a person. I have extended my knowledge somewhat since being part of the team and feel confident in being able to answer queries that I face daily.

One of the biggest challenges for me was joining a team I knew nothing about. I had to push myself past my personal boundaries and learn a completely new role.

I would recommend the company if you are looking for a career with several opportunities to thrive to bigger and better things. This is a company with an astounding reputation which is normally hard to source.
