I was working as a contractor and the Distribution Manager at the time must have seen something in me and gave me the opportunity to join the company.
The job is quite diverse. Working with the team to help insure that the maintenance paperwork is correct and up to date, paying bills as required, helping customers with queries and problems. Once a week I support the Faults desk.
The friendly atmosphere it’s like working with friends and family.
The office as a group of people is very pleasant and friendly. Working as teams also gives a competitive edge with friendly banter between teams.
Being able to show initiative, working hard with others and an ability to communicate.
I’m very happy in my role as a team support but the company offers every opportunity for those are ambitious, with on the job and classroom training.
When I first started I was a computer novice but with the help of managers and colleagues I have developed my skills to do the job.
