Safety & Training

Safety and training are the cornerstones of our business. 

Our Safety Teams take ownership of all safety policies. Customers, third parties and Network Services Teams trust their guidance and expertise, and they are in turn supported by the dedicated Safety Admin Team. 

The Training Team provide formal, new starter and refresher training that is delivered by Western Power Distribution trainers or expert Third Party organisations. They’re supported by the Training Administration team who schedule, resource and communicate course details to candidates. 

Our training ensures our customers benefit from the work of highly motivated, technically competent professionals at the point of need. And our safety work is essential to developing, reviewing and implementing health and safety policy that complies with UK H&S legislation while also working for the business.
